Langkawi 4D2N

Day 1 ~ Kilim Geoforest Park, Seaview Hotel

Boarded the coach at 7.30pm at the bus stop near my house. Reached custom at around 9pm and Yong Peng at around 10.30. The bus trip to Langkawi was super long, 12 hours. Along the way, the bus will stop to let us have our toilet breaks.

We arrived at the jetty at about 12.30pm in the afternoon. It was already filled with alot of people waiting to cross the sea at that moment. The feeling was like going to tekong ~Haha.

Once we reached Langkawi, we went to Kilim Geoforest Park. It was a boat trip to view eagle feeding and also a Kelong visit. Before returning shore, we also visited a bat cave.

Next, we went to a temple famous for the 3 bronze statue imported from Thailand. The 3 bronze statue were the high monks of famous temple in Thailand. They were allowed to be imported into langkawi because of the donations made to the temple. As a gesture of goodwill, the temple agreed to the request of the bronze statues. (No pictures were taken at the temple).

After the visit, we went to a shopping centre for some shopping. What attracts alot of people there is the duty free shops. Alcohol, cigarettes, chocolates, sport wears etc.

Day 2 ~ Oriental Park Cable Car

In the morning, we visited the Oriental Park which was about 45mins journey from our hotel. Over there, we took the cable car ride up the mountain. The view was magnificent and I highly recommend everyone to go up and have a look. For now, just enjoy the short video I created for the short trip to langkawi.
